My name is Delyse Baker. I am 28, married and a full time Mother to 2 children (4&9)

When most clients meet me I have my hair pinned to the top of my head and I have more than a little mud left on me from the last shoot...

So here is a peek at me outside of work, with hours of prep and the skilled eye of a friend Photographer

I am in Oregon City, Oregon. I shoot from Lake Oswego to Gresham and everywhere in between. I will travel outside my bubble but additional fees apply.

I have been messing around with a camera since high school, but only since my daughter was born taken it up as more than a hobby! I hated studio settings and options, let alone prices, so I always took pictures of my own kids or had help from Family & Friends. I realized my skills were growing and I was fine tuning my approach. I will admit I still have mini panic attacks when heading to a shoot, but once I'm behind my camera everything just 'clicks'

I am a bit of a goof ball and I don't mind being the butt of a joke if it creates a smile on a subjects face. I love the natural beauty in life. And because of that my pictures show the authentic details of every shoot. I will not perfectly airbrush your face, but blemishes and scars will fade away. I will not pose a child in such a unnatural way but rather chase them around until I'm out of breath.

I genuinely love what I do, and try very hard to keep my prices at a point that anyone can afford a great session that will last a life time. I am always running 'promotions' when my trigger finger starts to itch. It physically hurts me to stay home when the sun beams are dancing through my windows. The BIG little details
Right now I shoot with a Canon 7D. My back up Body is a Canon EOS Rebel XT

My favorite lens is my 50mm f/1.4, but I am looking forward to the day when I purchase (vs rent) the 17-55mm 2.8..

I have an external flash with off camera cord, diffuser, reflector, soft box and continuous umbrella stand lighting. I hate using them.

I use Photoshop Lightroom 4.2 and CS5 for post processing.
